Windows Error:  IP Address Conflict ....  With Windows 7 ultimate 32 & 64 bit version and server 2008
For the last few days I have been unable to connect to me network because of an IP Address Conflict error. My DHCP Server is windows 2003 and 75 other computer running other OS's are working fine. Withing 20 minutes of plugging turning on these PC's my DHCP server is filled with BAD_Address errors. Here is what I have tried: assigning static IP addresses Deleting the network adapter and restarting the unit. Praying Yelling Reading lots of other peoples posts. You may right-click on the icon on Notification Area, and choose Troubleshoot. It will automatically renewal the IP address from DHCP server. If the issue still occurs, I suggest you roll back the network adapter driver. How to Roll Back a Device Driver If the issue persists, please let us know the model of the computer.Arthur Xie - MSFT
